Join Nigel Marsh on this amazing trip to explore the rich reefs and muck sites of the Banda Sea, Indonesia. During the trip Nigel will be on hand for photo tips, feedback and talks on photography and marine life. Photographers of any level of experience will enjoy this trip and you don’t have to be a photographer to join, just someone with a sense of adventure.
Departing from Alor, we head deep into the Coral Triangle to explore the Spice Islands. On this liveaboard trip we will journey to the best spots of the Banda Sea to experience vibrant and healthy reef systems, a great variety of reef fish and invertebrates, schools of pelagic fish and sharks and some weird and wonderful muck critters. One of the features of this area is schools of hammerhead sharks, but we are also hoping to see turtles, manta rays, dolphins and dugongs. We will explore unique and spectacular landscapes above and below the waves, where volcanic activity has created a remote island paradise that divers can enter only on a liveaboard. The dive sites have excellent conditions, great visibility, and mild to strong ocean currents. The trip ends when we arrive at Ambon.
