PHOTOGRAPHY TRIPS

Join Nigel Marsh for an amazing dive trip to Timor Leste (East Timor) to explore coral reefs, muck sites and also swim with whales.

Timor Leste is only a small nation, but it has lovely coral reefs and muck sites that are easily accessible from the shore. All the famous muck critters can be seen, like frogfish, snake eels, weedy scorpionfish, nudibranchs and a great variety of fishes, crustaceans and molluscs. During this trip we will also do a double dive to Atauro Island to dive its spectacular coral walls. We also have a good chance of see sharks, rays, turtles, schools of pelagic fish and maybe a dugong.

From October to December each year, something special happens off the seas of Timor Leste, as it is a gathering place for whales and dolphins. We will have two dedicated days of whale watching, and whale swims, and will be mostly hoping to see sperm whales and pygmy blue whales. However, there is also the chance of encounters with beaked whales, killer whales, short-finned pilot whales and melon-headed whales.

Nigel will also be on hand to improve your underwater photography with tips and talks.

• 6 Coast Shore Dives inc. tanks, weights and dive guide

• 2 Atauro Island Boat Dives inc. tanks, weights and dive guide
